Six H-F seniors awarded HFPA scholarships

The six winners of Homewood Flossmoor High School Parents Association (HFPA) scholarship were announced at the May 24 honors convocation. Recipients of the $500 scholarships and their colleges are: Jessica Ashby, Howard University;Jenna Bostick, Grand Valley State University; Jayson Doss, Columbia College Chicago; Lillian Gosha, University of Wisconsin-Platteville;Alexis Sanders, Hampton University; andAmina Shittu, St. Louis College of Pharmacy. HFPA raised more than $2,600 to underwrite the scholarships.
