A special fundraiser June 8 focusing on works by local artists will benefit South Suburban Family Shelter (SSFS).
Artists interested in helping can donate their works for sale. All proceeds will go to SSFS to help the agency maintain its outreach programs to those dealing with domestic violence.
The community is invited to the sale from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Bottle & Bottega, 2009 Ridge Rd. in downtown Homewood as part of Art Week, the village’s extended celebration of community arts June 5 through June 10.
The community can enjoy wine and cheese throughout the bidding time. There is no admission charge.
