(Chronicle file photo) Runners, walkers and supporters will gather Sunday, Sept. 17, for the 8th annual Homewood Schools Fund Run. The race, hosted by Foundation 153, raises money for programs and school initiatives that are not paid for through the school budget.  Organizers hope to meet their target of $15,000. In past years supporters have raised more than $10,000 with 500 runners, said foundation . . .
