Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School thespians will present “Bob: A Life in Five Acts” at 7 p.m. May 4, 5, and 6 in the school’s Mall Auditorium.
The play, written by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, was the winner of the 2010 Barrie and Bernice Stavis Award from the National Theatre Conference. It follows the life and adventures of Bob, a man certain of his destiny for greatness, as he struggles to find his purpose.
The show is directed by J.R. Rose, H-F English teacher, who is assisted by Olivia Ryan and Juno Suzuki, student directors.It is geared for audiences high school age and older. Limited arena-style seating on the stage will be available. Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens.
