Readers can now find garage sale listings and job postings on the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle’s website, hfchronicle.com.
The Chronicle launched these new website pages in mid-April due to popular demand, said Public Outreach Manager Patty Houlihan.
“Lots of readers have asked us to list garage sales. We’re glad to add them just as the warm weather is arriving,” she said.
Garage sale listings cost $25 for one week or $35 for two weeks. The page lists all garage sales by date, location and time. It also provides a space for a brief description and includes a map of all garage sales listed on the Chronicle site.
Help-wanted postings run $100 for one month, $65 for two weeks or $35 for one week.
Several local business owners have run ads with the Chronicle for open positions.
“The new page posts them all in one spot, which makes it easier for job hunters to scan local listings,” Houlihan said.
With both pages, customers can submit a listing and pay for it online with a credit card. Chronicle staff will review the submissions and post them within 24 hours.
