The Drama Group’s Daytime Children’s Theatre will present “The Wizard of OZ” in morning and afternoon performances April 5 through 9.
This beloved story tells the adventures of Dorothy, who sets off to help her friends Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion find a brain, a heart and courage. It will bring to life messages of love and appreciation of home.
Presentations are at The Drama Group’s Milord Studio Theatre, 330 S. 202nd St. in Chicago Heights. Shows will be at 9:30 a.m. and noon on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday April 5, 6 and 7; at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 8; and 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 9.
The production is designed for children, schools and daycare facilities. The director is long-time Drama Group member Charlie Misoyve.
