Homewood Events Manager Allisa Opyd drops a tent wall Friday at the Art & Garden Street Fair to reveal the Pets on Parade statues decorated by local businesses and community groups. The collection of statues will be on display all day Saturday. Sometime after the festival, they will be placed throughout the downtown area for the community to enjoy throughout the summer.

The project is a fundraiser to benefit the South Suburban Humane Society.
