A Homewood restaurant will celebrate its second anniversary by hosting a performance by a teen singer who appeared on “The Voice.”

La Voute Bistro and Bar, inside La Banque Hotel at 2034 Ridge Road, will treat guests to a 6 to 9 p.m. performance by Riley Elmore on June 17, the anniversary of its opening.

The 16-year-old crooner from West Dundee was a member of Adam Levine’s team on the NBC-TV talent show. He sings in the style of Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble.

“He is a fantastic talent,” said Ken Churilla, the restaurant’s marketing director.

Elmore’s style of singing classics fits right in with what La Voute patrons enjoy, he said.

Elmore advanced through the first three rounds in the 2016 show, to a live Top 20 playoff round.

He started playing the trombone in the fourth grade, according to the biography on the NBC website. Elmore discovered a passion for Sinatra after joining a jazz band and wears a pin with Sinatra quotes given to him by his grandfather.

“I booked Riley because he’s a phenomenal talent. I mean, both Blake Shelton and Adam Levine turned around to get him on their team on ‘The Voice,’ so that speaks volumes,” Churilla said.

Elmore self-released his cover songs via SoundCloud. He has no other publicly announced tour dates scheduled.

“Riley is the real deal and he’s just in the launching pad phase of his career, so this will be a treat that our patrons will remember for the rest of their lives,” Churilla said. “It’s not often this level of star appears at a small venue like La Voute so we are incredibly excited and honored to have him perform.”
