Two administrators make the grade

Rep. Robin Kelly, D-Ill., who represents Homewood and Flossmoor in Congress, is waiting for additional action by the White House on cybersecurity. Kelly is the ranking member of the Information Technology (IT) Subcommittee under the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.   • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
