Mu Alpha Theta math honors society and the Spanish, French, Art and Tri-M Music National Honor Societies at Homewood-Flossmoor High School are inducting new members.
To be selected for Mu Alpha Theta, students have an A average in regular level math classes, or grades of A and B in honors level math classes; have completed the first semester Algebra 2/Trig and be enrolled in the second semester; and have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of at least 4.5 on a 6.0 scale.

Members recently inducted into Tri-M Music Honor Society have maintained an A in music class the past two years; maintained a solid GPA; attend monthly meetings; and volunteered at H-F concerts, given free music lessons, participated in pep band, pit orchestra, jazz band and symphonic strings as part of the service requirements.
