New Faces Theatre at Homewood-Flossmoor High School will present “A Wrinkle in Time” at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, and Saturday, Feb. 18, in the school’s Mall Auditorium.

The play focuses on three young people ― Meg Murray, her brother and her friend ― who travel through time and space to save her father and humanity. It is based on the Newberry Award-winning novel by Madeleine L’Engle. The New Faces production is directed by teacher Jill Bonavia-Galligani.

New Faces is for H-F students who are new to the theatrical world and are looking for an opportunity to play a role in a show that excludes seasoned H-F actors and actresses from auditioning. This production is intended to give up-and-coming performers dramatic experience for future auditions.

Cast members are Jace Banks, Frederick Blackmon, Barbara Burns, Jazz Jabulani, Amber Jackson, Jack Johnson, Ava Jones, Nathaniel Jones, Jonathan Kriarakis, Leanna Lewis, Rose McClendon, Mia Napue, Noelle Oh.

Emma Piotrowski, Darrione Polk, Kortni Robinson, Ally Ryan, Alexa Sampson, Haley Sawyer, Greta Schmidt, Joshua Smith, Jaira Stanley, Kevin Thompson, Nia Valdez and Brianna Valentine.

Tickets, sold at the door, are $9 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
