St. Baldrick’s volunteers needed

Students at Homewood-Flossmoor High School are asking community members to step up to fight pediatric cancer by volunteering to have their heads shaved as part of the 2017 St. Baldrick’s event. The National Honor Society is sponsoring the program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, in the high school’s South Building cafeteria. Participants who have their heads shaved raise money through pledges for pediatric cancer research. Each volunteer is given a time slot, and family and friends are encouraged to attend and give moral support.    Malika . . .
