Tuesday is deadline for GSU theater’s wine benefit

She chose to use the simple push pin.
 
She brought to life a picture of an Indian boy that has won her numerous accolades.
 
Taylor, 16, produced this amazing artwork with an estimated 12,000 colored push . . .

Summer events

Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
