Possible body found in remains of burned vehicle

Homewood public safety personnel found what appeared to be a human body after extinguishing a car fire on Monday afternoon.Fire and police units responded at 2:14 p.m. to a report of a car on fire in Patriots Park, 1300 187th St.When they arrived, crews found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames, according to Homewood police."Once the fire was extinguished, public safety personnel on scene discovered what appeared to be a human body in the vehicle," said Deputy Police Chief Denise McGrath in a news release.The Homewood Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit is conducting . . .
