The Homewood Police Department has issued an alert for a woman who was reported missing from a group home on Dec. 16. Latrice Charleston, 35, was reported missing from the group home in the 18600 block of Center Avenue in Homewood.

The Homewood Police Department has issued an alert for a woman who was reported missing from a group home on Dec. 16.
According to a press release issued by police on Tuesday, Latrice Charleston, 35, was reported missing from the group home, which was managed by Southwest Disabilities Service, an agency for children and adults with disabilities. The group home was located in the 18600 block of Center Avenue in Homewood.
Police said the license for the group home has been suspended by the Illinois Department of Human Services.
During the process of relocating Charleston to a new facility, the Suburban Access representative discovered she was no longer at the residence on Center Avenue, the press release states.
Charleston was last seen on Dec. 1, when she was reportedly observed leaving the residence with an unidentified female, police said.
Charleston has mental disabilities and is on prescription medication, the press release states. At this time, it is unknown if Charleston has her medications with her.
Attempts to locate Charleston at alternative addresses have been unsuccessful, police said.
