Fall sports honors at H-F

At a second fall sports recognition program hosted by Homewood-Flossmoor High School in November, coaches recognized outstanding students in football, girls swimming and girls volleyball.

The entire football team was given most valuable player honors. Ivory Lewis was name the most improved player in football; Kellyn Gerestein and Joshua Bishop received sportsmanship awards.

Special recognition for girls swim team members went to Megan Bolling as most valuable player; Evelyn Perl, most improved player; and Samantha Klupchak, sportsmanship.

On the girls volleyball team, the most valuable player was Lindsay Simpson; most improved player was Alexis Robinson; and the sportsmanship award went to Bridget Van Etten.
