H-F students host food drive at home opener for boys basketball

Fans of Homewood-Flossmoor High School boys basketball are invited to donate food instead of paying admission for the first home game when the Vikings take on Thornridge High School at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, in the South Gym.

Each spectator can bring two nonperishable food items, including baby food, canned beans, canned fruits, canned vegetables, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, rice, soup, tomato products and tuna.

As part of the Holiday Angels program at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, Student Government will be hosting its sixth annual drive to benefit the food . . .
