GSU students presenting ‘Fat Pig’ as eighth theater program show

Governors State University’s Theatre and Performance Studies students will present “Fat Pig” Oct. 29 and 30 and Nov. 3 and 4 at the Center for Performing Arts on campus.

This is the eighth production by Governors State’s Theatre and Performance Studies (TAPS) program. The play will be performed in-the-round on the center’s stage. The director is GSU Assistant Professor Patrick Santoro.

The story focuses on human weakness and the difficulty people have when trying to stand up for a position they believe in.

Presentations are at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, and Thursday, Nov. 3, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30, and Friday, Nov. 4. Tickets are $15, or $10 with a valid student ID.
