Beer businesses and liquor licenses to dominate Homewood trustees’ meeting Tuesday

Residents are being asked to give input on the strengths and challenges at Homewood-Flossmoor High School and the professional and personal characteristics for H-F’s next principal.

  • Roots + Fire Water grand opening, 11 a.m. at 1941 Ridge Road in Homewood.

Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
