Anyone who’s ever wanted their picture in the paper can get on the front page of the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle Saturday at Flossmoor Fest. A special “selfie frame” that looks like a page from Homewood-Flossmoor’s local newspaper will be available at the Community Relations Commission tent.
Featuring a special cut-out (shown here with editor Tom Houlihan), the frame also includes community news stories, two of which focus on Flossmoor Fest itself.
The Chronicle is providing the selfie frame as one of the sponsors of this year’s event.
“People love Flossmoor Fest, and our ‘front page’ will help people capture fun memories from the event,” said Patty Houlihan, public outreach manager.
“It will be available starting at 11:30 a.m.,” she said. “We hope everybody stops by.”
