District 161 hires firm to look for illegally enrolled students

The Joliet Area/South Suburban Alumnae Chapter (JASSAC) of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is presenting its "Youth Summit" on Oct. 29.

The program for 11- to 18-year-olds and their parents is from 1 to 5 p.m. at River Oaks Mall, 159th Street and Torrence Avenue in Calumet City. The event is free.

The summit will provide information on various subjects affecting families today and international concerns impacting young people, according to JASSAC Chapter President Kimberly Rowe-Barney.
