New District 233 board member Andrew Lindstrom will take his seat when the Homewood-Flossmoor High School Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, in the library.
The board will take action on the nominations of Lindstrom and member Jodi Scariano who are vying for the vice president/secretary position.
The board did not meet in July. This is the first regular meeting since the release of Principal Ryan Pitcock on June 21.
Community members are welcome to address the board following the vote on the Lindstrom and Scariano appointment.
New business on the agenda includes approving out-of-town student trips: the girls basketball team to the Junior Orange Bowl Tournament and the Tennessee Turkey Jamm Invite, and extended field trips for the debate teams.
