Homewood Schools District 153 Superintendent Dale Mitchell, left, accepts a $5,000 check from Marvin Comerford of the Homewood Rotary Foundation on July 13. The gift will be used to reduce the $348,000 cost of the new STEM/CMA lab at Hart School. The lab is considered essential for 21st century learning. The donation was one of several Rotary members awarded this past year to benefit local and international projects.
