Whether you make things and would like to meet other creative people or whether you want to learn how to make something, the Homewood Public Library’s Maker Meetup: a STEAM Faire will be the place to be on Saturday, June 4.
STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art and math.
The event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is open to makers and aspiring makers of all ages, according to a news release from the library.
Special guests will showcase 3D printing, ceremics, sewing and more. There will be a “tech take-apart” activity, too.
In addition to tech stuff, there will also be sewing and fiber crafts. There will also be a Technology Petting Zoo, 3D printing, and a Tech Take-Apart activity.
Representatives from Homewood Science Center and Art 4 Soul will be there.
No registration is required.
