The Homewood District 153 Board of Education awarded tenure to eight staff members at its Monday, April 11, board meeting.

Maureen Daley, Stephanie Hess, Kimberly Homich, Elizabeth Hovan, Meredith Leonard, Jessica Mucha, Amanda Speiser and Matthew Zimmerman were granted tenure.

To earn tenure, the teachers completed four years of successful employment with the district.
