Assessor’s Office recovers $15.6 million in erroneous tax exemptions

Homewood-Flossmoor High School District 233 summer driver education registration will be conducted March 15 and 16.

To qualify, students must be age 16 before Nov. 1, 2016, and live within the district boundaries. Sessions will be June 1 through 27.

Students who have taken classroom instruction and need only behind-the-wheel instruction can register from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 15 at the high school’s south building cafeteria.  The fee is $100.

Registration for students needing both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction is from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on March 16 in the high school’s south cafeteria.  The fee is $175.

Driving time slots are limited; participants are registered on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees payment can be cash, check, credit card or money order made out to HFHS.
