District 153 supporters counting on large voter turnout for March 15 referendum

“Shrek the Musical,” the story of the ornery green ogre who searches for love as he travels with his companion Donkey, will be performed at 7 p.m. March 3 and 4 at James Hart School, 183rd Street and Morgan Avenue, in Homewood.

Students will welcome guests at 6 p.m. for a pre-show ice cream social and fine arts reception in the Hart cafetorium.

Tickets for the performance are $3. Proceeds benefit the Homewood Parent Music Association.
