Tribute: Artist’s world was a stage and his life a memorable performance

The second Homewood Winter Indoor Farmers Market will include new vendors, according to the village.

The free event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Marie Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave.

New vendors will include Mother Wilma’s Marshmallow Factory and Zeldenrust Farm Market and Greenhouse offering honey and herb plants.

The market will feature vendors offering empanadas, soup, gumbo, cheesecake, veggie burgers, homemade granola bars, kettle corn, olive oils, pasta sauces, cheeses, pies, bread, chocolate, hydroponics, micro greens, plants, organic body products and more.

Vendors from the Homewood Hunt & Gather Market will sell handcrafted items and collectibles. In addition, different community organizations will attend the Indoor Farmers Market to provide information on their groups and activities happening in the community.

Market Manager Kate Duff said she was pleased with the attendance at the first indoor market of the season Jan. 30, which attracted about 600 patrons.

The indoor market is held on the last Saturday of each month through April 30. For more information visit www.HomeSweetHomewood.com or call 708-798-3000.
