Your Heart Deserves More

The snowstorm Feb. 24 was not the worst we’ve seen, but in terms of this mild winter, it was the best we could do. Forecasters called it a blizzard because strong winds and heavy, wet snow made visibility low at times during the afternoon and evening, causing some havoc for motorists and train commuters. Homewood received 5.5 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. Here are a few scenes from the H-F area about mid-afternoon.
