The next meeting of the Ingalls Diabetes Forum is 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, and will feature general surgeon and wound care specialist Dr. Michael Romberg, who will discuss diabetic wounds and how to care for them.
Romberg is a board certified general surgeon whose specialties include wound care and cancer surgeries.
The meeting will take place in the first-floor conference room at Ingalls Family Care Center, 19550 Governors Highway in Flossmoor.
The Diabetes Forum meets the last Monday of every month and provides education and support for people with diabetes. Topics include healthy eating, physical activity, medication management and behavior modification.
Family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend.
