South Suburban Family Shelter, Inc. is looking for individuals, families or businesses interested in participating in its Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program, according to a news release from the organization.
Adopt-A-Family is designed to help victims of domestic violence and their children during the holiday season.
The victims and their children who participate in Adopt-A-Family are experiencing financial hardship as a result of their family circumstances. Monetary contributions and gift cards are also welcome and may be mailed to: South Suburban Family Shelter. P.O. Box 937, Homewood, IL 60430, attention: Adopt-a-Family.
