Homewood’s Art & Garden Fair to feature science tinkering, public art project

Two vehicles were stolen from a Homewood residence overnight May 23-24, according to a police report.

The vehicles taken from the 18900 block of Jodi Terrace were a 2008 gray Ford Taurus and a red Ford Ranger with an unspecified model  year, according to the report, obtained by the HF Chronicle through a FOIA request.

The vehicles were taken between 11:55 p.m. and 5 a.m. May 24. The keys to the vehicles were taken from inside the home.

Additional information, including the vehicle license numbers, was redacted from the report because it refers to an ongoing criminal investigation, according to Deputy Police Chief Denise McGrath.

The resident reports the home was broken into while the family was asleep inside, and electronics also were taken.
