Two Homewood attorneys have been selected to serve on Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) select committees.
Lisa McLeod and Masah S. Renwick, partners and founders of Lakeside Law Group, LLP, were appointed to one-year terms beginning July 1. McLeod will serve on the General Practice Solo and Small Firm Section Council and Renwick will serve the Standing Committee on Racial & Ethnic Minorities and Law.
“We are privileged to be afforded the opportunity to be a part of the governing board of two committees that are so meaningful to us and our individual practices,” said Renwick.
Earlier this year, McLeod and Renwick were named to the National Black Lawyers – Top 100, an honorary organization of black lawyers across the country.
“To be recognized among a group of our peers who are at the top of the legal profession across practice areas and across the country is significant,” McLeod said.
McLeod received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and a J.D. degree from Loyola University School of Law. Renwick received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law.
