Homewood Farmers Market welcomes patrons, vendors back for a new summer season

Two Homewood students at Prairie State College have been awarded scholarships to continue their education at Governors State University.

Kevin Adams won the Honors Scholarship and Sean Horan won the GSU Promise Scholarship, two of GSU’s Dual Degree Program Scholarship offerings available to high achieving, first-time transfer students who enroll in the Dual Degree Program at a partnering community college. The scholarships will cover either tuition and fees or a portion of those expenses not covered by federal and state grants.
