An armed robbery occurred just before midnight Saturday, May 16, in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 18800 block of Dixie Highway, according to Homewood police.
The robber approached as the victim opened a car door, police said.
“The male offender was wearing dark clothing and displayed a dark colored handgun,” said Homewood Deputy Police Chief Denise McGrath. “The offender ran off with the victim’s bag. The victim was not physically injured.”
No additional information was immediately available.
