Homewood trustees to consider next step in establishing new TIF district

Homewood residents who enjoy the village's smooth, well-lighted streets and clean water will have an opportunity to learn about the department that works to provide those features of the community. Homewood Public Works will give residents a chance to learn more about the department and how it serves the community with an open house at 17755 Ashland Ave. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16.

  • Pride Party at the Flossmoor Community Church Community House, 847 Hutchison Road in Flossmoor. The family-friendly event will have food, music and other entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m.
