Millennium School principal ready to take her leave

We at the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle are introducing our new logo.  It’s distinctive, easy to read and helps us reach out to our readers.

Since the Chronicle started in July 2014, we’ve gone through a name change.  This logo is helping us get an identity for both the Homewood and Flossmoor communities. We’re doing our best to give you the news about this area in a timely, lively fashion online.

We send our sincere thanks to Marc Alan Fishman who volunteered to do the design work for us on this logo. Maybe you know him? Marc’s a long-time Homewood area resident who graduated from James Hart Junior High and Homewood-Flossmoor High School. He went on to earn a bachelor of fine arts degree from Herron School of Art, with a minor in writing from Indiana University/Purdue University-Indianapolis.

Marc works as a graphic designer for an educational assessment software company, is a freelance artist and a comic creator.

His talents can be viewed at marcalanfishman.com. He and his wife, Kathy, are the proud parents of 3-year-old Bennett.

Like many of you, Marc learned about the Chronicle through friends and our Chronicle Facebook posts. Keep spreading the word for us, and remember our logo!
