Renovation work on Homewood Village Hall is scheduled to begin April 6, according to Village Manager Jim Marino. Public Works Department crews will be moving second-floor village departments late this week and early next week to the former Ryan Funeral Home, 18022 Dixie Highway.
The temporary move will allow renovation to work to proceed faster and with less disruption to village operations, according to village officials.
Residents who have business with the manager’s office, the accounting office, the community development department and the building department will need to go to the former funeral home starting March 23, Marino said.
Renovation work is expected to take about eight to 10 weeks.
