Don’t let the groundhog’s pessimism fool you. A more reliable sign that spring is just around the corner: It’s time to sign up for Homewood baseball leagues.
Homewood Baseball and Softball will hold registration for the 2015 baseball, softball and T-ball season from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Churchill School, 1300 190th St. in Homewood.
The organization offers leagues for boys and girls from 4 to 18.
This year the organization is asking participants to fill out an online registration form at www.homewoodbaseballandsoftball.com prior to the required in-person registration Saturday.
