Homewood will again get the jump on the new year with its noon countdown and balloon drop Wednesday, Dec. 31, to welcome the arrival of 2015.

Doors at the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District Auditorium, 2010 Chestnut Road, will open at 10:30 a.m. A comedy show by Circus Boy will start at 11 a.m.
The event is sponsored by Homewood’s Community Relations Committee and donations from White Castle of Homewood.
