Like finding lost keys, the unique snowflake was in the last place Tommy Lowell looked.
The youngster won a coupon for an egg roll at Eat Rice for spotting the one decorative snowflake that is different from the others, and came to Village Hall Saturday, Dec. 6, to claim his prize. Lowell said he couldn’t remember how many lighted snowflakes he examined before making his find.
Homewood Mayor Rich Hofeld said he has awarded 13 coupons for egg rolls and for an item at Twisted Q BBQ since the contest began Nov. 25.
