Holiday cards bring season’s greetings to Homewood’s front yards

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission has selected 73 Homewood-Flossmoor juniors for State Scholar honors.

The State Scholar Program recognizes these students for their outstanding academic achievements, including ranking in the top 10 percent of the class and scoring in the 95th percentile on the ACT exam.

State scholar designation provides honorary recognition with no monetary award.
