Putting up holiday decorations? Don’t throw away broken light strings

Broken or unwanted holiday light strings can be recycled, according to the latest Village of Flossmoor e-newsletter. 

Residents can drop off broken or unwanted lights beginning from Nov. 24 through Jan. 19 at these locations:

• Flossmoor Village Hall (Police Department Entrance)
• HF Ice Arena
• HF Racquet Club
• Irons Oaks
• Irwin Center
• Wiley’s Grill
