Holiday shopping season officially begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, when every unused nook and cranny will temporarily be filled with businesses.
The Pop-Up Shops program started in the 2013 holiday shopping season. This year, 32 shops feature arts, crafts, food, clothing and home decor will be open in four downtown locations and one spot on Governors Highway from Oct. 16 through Dec. 20, according to a news release from the village.
