At the end of open session Tuesday, Sept. 9, long-time Homewood Trustee Tom Kataras announced his retirement from the board.
The retired businessman has served a total of about 10 years on the board, and he thanks board members and village staff for their service to the community. But he said other interests were making it increasingly difficult to fulfill his obligations as a trustee.
