The 4th of July parade might be canceled, but that doesn’t mean we won’t observe and celebrate Independence Day. We’ll find new ways to do it, says Chronicle editor Eric Crump. 

In fact, there’s a plan being developed by the two villages, the park district and Homewood-Flossmoor High School to hold a drive-in movie on July 3.

Eric discusses changes to the Homewood Farmers Market and other local celebrations, adjustments that are being made because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
