IPO performs Bach and Beethoven at Saturday’s concert

November 11, 2021 - 22:58

The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Bach’s “Sinfonia Concertante for Winds” by Bach and “Symphony No. 8” by Beethoven at its 7:30 p.m. concert Saturday, Nov. 13.

The performance will feature four orchestra principals – Naomi Bensdorf Frisch on oboe, Trevor O’Riordan on clarinet, Erin Kozakis on bassoon and Lee Shirer on horn – for the Bach piece.

Following the concert, a “talkback” session with Maestro Stilian Kirov and the IPO soloists will give guests a chance to be in discussion with the musicians.

Guests at the concert must present their vaccination record and wear masks during the performance.

The IPO concert will be presented at Trinity Christian College, 6601 W. College Dr. in Palos Heights. Tickets are available at the door, or by calling 708-481-7774 or visit ipomusic.org.
