Story Launch, an event to introduce the community to a new storytelling program hosted by Homewood Public Library, has been cancelled due to the snowy weather forecast, according to organizer Greg Weiss. It was scheduled to take place from 3 to 5 p.m. today.
Instead, Weiss plans to be available in the main area of the library from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday to answer questions.
The series of storytelling workshops will start Saturday, Jan. 16. Weiss will be leading storytelling workshops the third Saturday through May 21. Participants will put on a Story Launch Showcase on June 18.
Sessions are free and open to the public. Registration is requested and can be made at the library. For more information, call 708-798-0121.
